Hi,
I am making a small survey.
Company named JODInstruments(**broken link removed**) is going to provide industry VHDL modules.
There will be a unique module for each DAC converter (up to 100MSps) and all modules will give user standard interface for DACS.
For example user will have 24bit wide data bus. User puts data o it, toggles SetDac pin and module will initiate all the communication to the device.
The user end will be the same for all DACs in the industry and the device side will depend on the device.
JODInstruments will produce modules for each DACs. Later on modules for ADC, temperature sensors , etc... will be available.
