Hi,

I'm new in micropocessors.

I want to start working with Cypress CY7C68013A USB devices. I saw that in order to program the chip I need Keil software.

But how can i phisicaly burn the chip. does it connect to the parallel port or to the serial port? whitch cable should I use?

do i need buffer betwwen the Chip and the computer?

no all, you need jst USB port and cypress console software running on PC

if you want to sim the CPU core in CY7C68013, youneed to do this:
1:run the test pannel (EZ-USB FX2)
2:download the Vend.ax (to run vend requst)
3:download the keil sim hex file
4:link the board by COM port(best COM1)
5:set you keil project(sim part)
now you can run sim
