Does any one out their know roughly what the current consumption is for the CSR module being used a headset in SLEEP , IDDLE , and connection ? Does the CSR module also support Sniff during connection ? so it will work reliably with the Nokia phones.

Current consumption for bluecore2 external

Sleep mode 18uA.
Idle it depends on what state the chip is in.
Current consumption will vary depending on if it goes into deep sleep
or if it is sniffing. If you use a long interval the chip will sleep thus reducing
the current consumption. A short interval and the chip will not sleep and the current is a little higher.
There is current consumption information in their data sheet based on a 1.2 second sniff rate and also for Park and Deeep sleep.
Yes the CSR chip supports sniff during connection and does work with Nokia phones.

Hope this helps Phil :D
