What is the correlation between W(angular frequancy) and f? I will use it to design passive RC filter ( homework )

Please help!!!

f: number of cycles in a second
T: cycle's period time (what a cycle takes to finish)

f = 1 /T (Example f: 50 cycles by second. Then T(duration of a cycle)= 0.02s

w: angular velocity. number of radians by second.

w= sweep angle / Time to sweep it

w= angle of one cycle/T

w= 2*pi / T = 2*pi*f

Draw it and you got it!

this is relation between W and f..this is not the correlation(i don't know it either)

i don't think that you mean the name of correlation !!
if you want to design passive RC filter you only want to know
1- is the filter HPF (R-o/p) or LPF (C-o/p)?
2- the maximum magnitude of the transfere function |H(jw)|max.
3- the cut off value of the filter » 1/√2 × |H(jw)|max = 1/(RC)
then you can assume a practical value of R and calculate C
