If i have to do this then how can i get .3 degrees converted over to tell me how many inches that is. i have converted to radians but am trying to get that to radians. Do i have all the measuremebnts i need ...Please help!!

Can you posta drawing or plan of the machine if you have?
Its almost impossible to imagine/ picture what you are speaking of

Re: Converting Degrees

brainey64,
I'm assuming that you need the deflection along the surface of the shaft. If that is the case, then deflection = Pi X diameter X .3/360 = Pi X 6 X .3/360 = 0.0157.
