[SOLVED] convergence problem ,hfss result changes

hi
i am facing a problem,when i designed antenna and simulate i got convergence and got good results but when i simulate on same pc after 1 hour i got some results very different from previous one,i checked only differnce in both design is convergence point and max delta number,results that normaly changes are axial ratio and gain normaaly changes,how can i sought out this issue??????plz guide me.
 

Hi aniakhan,

From what I can tell of your description, it sounds like you continued doing adaptive passes in your simulation from where you left off the first time. If this is the case, it means that your simulation was not adequately converged after the first round of adaptive passes.

thanks for reply,so according to you although i got convergened plot in solution data after simulation but my simulation is not properly converged????so what should i do to sought out ot ?any suggestion???

 

Hi aniakhan ,

Just because your simulation meets the converged criteria once does not necessarily mean it is accurate, or that it is unconditionally converged. I would recommend requiring at least 3 converged passes (I'm assuming you have the minimum converged passes set to default - i.e., 1).
