Hai...
I have small doubt in this dvm
Here the question is, in this dvm there is chopper(comparator between dc input voltage and reference voltage) connected to pre-amplifier,power amplifier and servomotor.
the output of the chopper is a square waveform, where the amplitude is the function of difference voltage.
then, how the servo motor will rotate with the output of the power amplifier.

The motor driven pot picks of a voltage which is meant to be equal to the peak vaule of the incoming signal. If it is not equal the the output from the vibrator is a tiny little square wave . This is amplified and used to drive the motor which changes the pot voltage until the square wave disappears. At this point the two voltages are equal so the voltage can be read of the scale.
