connecting the cdma to µcontroller

is it posible to use cdma mobile phone as a modem and connect it with µcontroller for dialing and sms protocol, like the gsm modem. is there anyone already doing projrct like this before ? i'd be thankful if there is any referal link about this, thx

you can search for M2M & CDMA on google you will find many CDMA modems with their datasheets

CDMA phone is similar to GSM phone. It uses the same standard AT command set as any standard modem. You can send SMS, dial a number or connect to internet if your provider allows.
