I want to connect the RFID reader ID12 that I have with PC using the serial Port (MAX232 & DB9 connector).
The ID12 that I have with me is the simple one and not the "RW" reader.
Here's the pin diagram of ID12:-

I have tried to connect it with MAX232 with following connections:-
D0 (ID12) ---> Tx (MAX232)
Ground and Vcc to the RFID and MAX232.

But I am not getting any signal in Hyper-terminal. When I switch ON the power supply, the computer is not detecting the RFID reader.
Please help me out with this connection.
If anyone has any different working connections please help me..

Thanx in advance.
