how can i connect a atmega8 to atmega16 with Serial protocole ( TXD & RXD ) ?
in addition to use 2 max485?
does exist any point in this method?

how to connect 2 micro

with RS485? ow long is your communication length??? for small lengths o, in-pcb comm, you could use I2c (twi on avr)
