[SOLVED] CONFUSING NEON Characteristic Curve

I am having a confusion about the 2 characteristic curves found in different references.

What is there as a problem here for you to understand friend

The first one tells the response of the lamp to temperature and the second one tells about the I-V characteristics of the neon lamp
 

Both curves have are showing the same principle behaviour of a gas discharge. Details might refer to different level of accuracy or different gas pressure and composition or tube geometry. You'll find many similar curves in literature, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_discharge
