Can I use a computer power supply adjusted on 12v & 12A to charge a car battery.
Thanks in advance.

You can. But not directly. You'll need a current regulator to charge the battery within the maximum charging current.

we can charge the batteries from the charger which voltage should be higher than the battery voltage (Floating voltage- for 12V battery at least 1.8V ) other wise the battery will not be fully charged. And the charger should have current limiting circuit for protect the battery and as well as the charger.

No you can not charge a 12v battery with 12v. The charging voltage of a 12v battery is just under 14 volts, (13.5V to 13.8V).

Hi,

your thread title only talks about "PC power supply". If it was about charging a battery you will get usefull links in t "similar threads" below.
So your title is not descriptive enough.

To your problem:
As said before you need higher voltage than the rated battery voltage.

At first you urgently need to know what battery chemistry you use.
With this information you could decide what charging technique you want to use.
At next step you could look for charging circuits.
And finally you see what voltage and current rating your supply needs.

Beginning with a random power supply (voltage) is the wrong way.
