Hi, need help to make a voice recorder which can record 5 hours of voice on a micro sd card in WAV format and need to read this recording through USB into a PC (plug n play). would like to avoid too much softwares. i'm ok with interfacing multiple ICs but a bit of details about them will be very helpfull. all ideas are welcome... partial or full design.

Hi

Depend on the voice quality needed - basically you will need a micro controller with connection to SD card, An A2D converter and some analog front end (mic amplifier)

See MSP430 and STM32 site for application note on voice recorder and wave file player

All the best
