Is there a paper / tutorial on the pros and cons of mechanical microwave filters like:
Cavity,
Interdigital,
Tubular,
waveguide,
suspended stripline...

Try Matthaei and others: MIcrowave Filters. This is the most beautiful book on microwave filters you can get
