Hi all,

not long ago i finished my cnc mill, all works ok except one small problem

the dc servo motor has 3 wires, 2 for power and 1 frame ground

currently i have to run the motor with the frame ground disconnected, if frame ground is connected to wall plug ground and power supply frame then a lot of spikes are introduced in to the system and the servo turns erratically.

i made sure that the ground and frame ground are isolated

can anyone help?

thanks,
