Clock for kitchen on Atmega8

For this clock, a red-brown plastic filter (so-called “glass”) from a VCR, a red LED display 0.56” and some other details were used.



Plates were designed and the power supply section was modified. There is no option of the battery backup nor the real time clock module in this project.

While building, because of the paths 0,4mm, the plate of the display had to be done twice. In the last phase third plate was made for the transformer and socket 230V. It was about as accurate as possible cut-off of access to high voltage. Display and control modules are made in so-called “sandwich” and after removing, it can slide forward easily, the power supply module can be easily ejected (by unscrewing two screws) to the rear, so a good service access was planned.
