clock cycle significance

I built a radio board that will interfaces to an FPGA via some x number of pin connector. The rf board ic's (i.e. freg syn., dig atten, switches, etc.) are controlled by the fpga. Well my connector guy says he cant design a connector until I tell him the speed at which the signals are traveling between the fpga and RF board ic's. Is he asking me what is my clock speed? How do I answer this question? Is the answer to his question located on the rf part data sheet?

Some parts that are interfacing to the fpga:

1) ADF 4252
2) PE 4302
3) SA636
4) PE4237
5) CC2550
