Hi All,

Could anyone tell me about difference abetween Clinch and unclinched pads. What is standard clearance should be given between SMD pad and Clinch leads?

Thanks in advance..

our company pcb standard is to keep 0.5mm in between.

A big question to ask, is how big is your clinching tool?
If you have SMT on the side that its used, this needs to be taken into account.
