circuit design from 0.35um to 0.18um

0.35um scaling

I am looking to switch a circuit design from 0.35um to 0.18um?
can some advice me how can I manage?

There are some critical problems

1. Is your design is in layout (Physical Level)?
If yes -> Is your design is Lambda-based ?

2. Is your design in circuit level (W/L of MOS transistors)?

3. You have to look at the scaling theory on CMOS technology?

0.18um 0.35um

If they are digital circuit, just simply scale down with proper ratio.
For analog circuits,you have to adjust the transistors according the function and your unstanding of the circuits.

in 018 you will have choice of multiple devices - thin and thick oxide.
Depending on you VDD you should choose carefuly which to use. Apart from that nothing special - just the mask cost is way higher....... so be careful
