chrome is too slow in opening a new tab

Hello,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question. If it is wrong, please forgive me.
Recently, my chrome is too slow in opening a new tab. It takes about haff a minute to open a new tab while it is about 1-2 seconds before.
For example, the is a link. If I open it directly, it takes about 2-3 second to load but when I open it in a new tab, it takes about 30 seconds, too slow.
My laptop is Dell, Inprison 4010, 2G RAM therefore, I think it is not ram shortage.
Could you suggest me some solutions?

check your connection speed...check chrome version, if needed, update it

Today, I have uninstalled many programs and extension. And it is fats now.:-D
