difference between bead & inductor

Can anyone please tell me the differences between chip inductor and chip beads? What applications they are suited to? And if you guys know what brands are widely available for a 10 uH with a tolerance of +/- 10% with a DC current carrying capacity of at least 40 mA, it would nice if you guys post it here.
Thank you very much.

As per my knowledge chip inductor means smt inductor made up of coil wounded on ferrrite core typically used for high frequeny smps filtering circuits.

Chip bead means smt beads bead made up of ferrite material having property of suppresing band of frequeny by dessipating into itself.Band of frequeny depends upon material used.Typicaly used to suppress very high frequeny signals coupled into tracs or wires. You can get inductor of your requirement at websites of jwmiller,www.sumida.com
