Hi,
I have a circuit with 3A current consumption, I am powering it with 12 Volt 60 Ah Sealed Maintenance Free calcium+ Battery. Now i want to charge the battery while the system is in operation.
For this purpose I have a 12v 5A adapter, Please suggest me a mechanism to connect these three things together (i.e circuit, battery and adapter).
I have two solutions, please verify them.
By the way i already have a battery cutoff circuit. I also have a 10A battery charger .
Thanks in advance

- simply connect positive of charger to positive of battery and vice versa, and connect this with the circuit. (Obviusly not a good solution)
- Connect a battery cut-off circuit in between the adapter and battery. (Looks good but please guide me about this solution in detail)
