Hi everybody,
I'm trying to determine the guiding properties of a channel waveguide in LiNbO3 with RSoft. But I face a problem during the fundamenal mode determination.
During the simulation afther 20 lambda of propagation the major component of the mode suddenly disappear (the WG lenght is about 500 lambda). Why??!
I cannot believe that losses cause the disappearing...to sudden and losses would involve also the minor component of the mode....not only the major one!
I attached the simulation file.
Please help me.
