It is a project of a home made driver for all the necessary equipment in a house: central heating, solar installation and fan. A central heating and pump to heat water driver was modified and developed. The device uses triacs and digital sensors DS18B20.

The driver is based on:
  • Atmega8
  • optotriacs: MOC 3022x4
  • triacs: bt 138 x4
  • temperature sensors DS18B20 x4

While writing the software, you may face problems in communication with many sensors: simply too much cable. This can be solved by reducing the resistance of the pull-up resistor +5V to the line of data of sensors DS18B20 and increasing the waiting time for a bit of 1Wire.

The video below presents operation of the driver. Corrected:
  • single level menu
  • store setting in the EEPROM
  • numbers of pages in tabs
  • automatic exit from the menu after 15 seconds
  • operating mode: automatic, off, on available at the switch
