It's been my past experience that EDA tools for CDC checking is run on the RTL. I have a design with 95% RTL and 5% gate netlists that I read in and elaborate. The RTL for the netlists is not available to me. Can CDC checks using CCD validate the 5% gate netlists or do I need to black-box those modules?
