Cavity modes
Hello all,
I ran a small simulation (in CST) in order to find the eigenmodes of some circular resonator. I obviously got many different modes (theoretically resulting from Bessel functions), but one of them grabed my attention, as it seemed like it has turbulances of the E field, which is of-course not possible in Vacuum (which was the surrounding material).
I attached the pictures here, and if one of you can explain this phenomena…
Thanks,
