Hi all...
This is kinda theoretical question about how cascode current mirror works.
I've serached it all over the web and haven't found the answer.
The diode connection sets: V
gs1 = V
gs3 = V
ds1 = V
ds3
(given that all the transistors are the same).
After solving the nMos current equation, with taking in consideration the channel length modulation by (1+λV
ds)
I got V
gs1 = V
gs3 = V
ds1 = V
ds3 = V
gs2 = 2V
How can I now determine the current in the right branch (through N2, N4) ?
I've read that I can assume the voltage over N2 is constant. Why is that? and how does that assist me?
Thank !!! 8-O
