Capacitors in UPS application

I am working on capacitors used UPS, want to release techinical paper for study and design( parameters ar component level.
pl help
capacitor funcationality, location, application in ciruit require in details,
pl provide

Capacitor used in UPS inverter.
I am talking about capacitors having values more than 10 mfd......
Need Clarity about
1) Capacitors used at Input Side, Out Put side with waveforms.
2) How rating of capacitor is decided
