Mixer

Hi,
I wish to use Mini-Circuits mixer in upconverter they specify two things which confuses me
for example, 1) LO/RF=800-1000
2) IF =DC-200
can I use IF as input and RF as output.

Re: Mixer

Hi;
I think that you should refer to the datasheet or see the simple circuit diagram of the IC. I think that you can't use this mixer as an upconverter. I recommend that you find a modulator IC.

Re: Mixer

Mixer in Mini-Circuits have two type 1. Amplifier 2. Frequency . In you used Mixer Freqency or Frequency Mulitipler.:D

Re: Mixer

They show the schematic of their mixers. If it is the simple form with two transformers and four diodes you can.
