can DDR3 be run at the frequency lower than the rated frequency

hello all

can ddr3 run at the frequency lower than its rated frequency. like the memory I have is is DDR3-1333 and has the frequency of 666.66 MHz, can I run it at the slower frequency than this.

Read the data sheet. DDR3 RAM has a minimal clock frequency set by the internal PLL, e.g. 300 MHz.

thank you for your reply. I checked the speed bin table in the data sheer and just to confirm if I am right or not, I post it here. It shows that the maximum clock period can be
be less than 1.875 ns. Hence what I have understood since I am getting problem in timing analysis with 1.5 ns, I should raise the timeperiod unless less than 1.8 ns...!

I have posted the image as well. please check it I have highlighted my specification of device in that.
