i want to implement a CAN controller on arm .but i don‘t know how to implement it step by step.someone can give me some advice.now i only know the can specifications.than you very much.

Are you designing hardware or software?
This is the FPGA etc. group and you ask About an ARM implementation, which indicates a software implementation.

If you want to do a software implementation: forget it. It is not possible for normal CAN speeds.
If you want to do a hardware implementation: it is a major task. If you need to use something now, look at Opencores.
