can anyone tell me about counter in simulink matlab??

simulink counter

hi
am simulating dpll in matlab, i need a counter whos maximum value, reset and clk can b controlled by externel signal and should count +ve triggers.

i have found a counter that has all required ports except the input port for maximum value signal. Can anyone tell me how to add an input port for maximum value? or anyone can send me the simulink model for that counter.

matlab counter


You can implement your own counter using flip-flops and gates to count up to your maximum value. You can implement a loadable counter which can count up to the loaded binary value. Pls look at loadable/programmable counters.
