Hello all,

I want to design a simple circuit which can transport Ethernet packets over coaxial or a pair of wires. I am planning to use pic microcontroller for the ethernet mac and phy. I am searching for a low cost good solution to generate psk or qam signal corresponding to the data contained in the pic uc. Can anybody suggest of an I/Q modulator IC or any other circuitry that I can use for my project. I have searched for ICs, But I dont find any. I am planning to use frequencies ranging from 1 mhz to 50 mhz only. These frequencies have low loss when they travel on normal coaxial or copper wires.

Its basically a modem etc.

Please do reply me.

Thank you.
