hi one question is that can 0.18u process mosfet whose vdd =3.3v
can this mosfet withstand for 6.5v vdd.
if yes then why ???

we should clearify the definition of the withstand. The the mosfet under 6.5v will not be broken. however the reliability will be worse.

i think you are right on the edge
since the typical oxide thickness is 70A

you will have a reliability problem if it stays there too long

Hi,
I guess you are about to design a double swing circuit (e.g. a Power Amplifier)
The answer depends on two parameters:
1) Where is this voltage is going to be applied? If you are going to apply it to the Gate, forget it!
2) For how long is this voltage going to be applied? (Tell me more about the topology and I will be more specific)

Hope that helped,
John

Check the foundry documentation for BVOX and BVDSS..... if your foundry allow it, then you are OK..... Reliabilty is the next thing that u should consider after confirm the BVOX and BVDSS
