Looking to interface between simple VGA sensor (YUV output) and an LCD module which accepts RGB input. No image capture required. Just send live image from Image Sensor to LCD.
One caveat is that most sensors and some LCDs have I2C or SPI interfaces and require several configuration commands before they start running.

Many products are "overkill" like OMAP Apps Processors and the likes, or underkill like simple Display Controller IC offered by Epson and similars (they require a Host CPU to control them).

I'm almost looking for a PIC type of device that contains Camera and LCD interfaces.

Any recommendations for simple ICs that can help me connect sensor to the LCD?

Any pointers are appreciated!
