Hi Guys,
What do the following variables mean?

My A.cal file has the following commands:

LAYOUT SYSTEM GDSII
SOURCE SYSTEM SPICE
LAYOUT PATH "A.gds2"
LAYOUT PRIMARY "B"
SOURCE PATH "C.cdl"
SOURCE PRIMARY "B"
LVS REPORT calibre_lvs.rep

I am using the following commands to run lvs. What do these commands do?

calibre -lvs A.cal | tee lvs.log
calibre -lvs A.cal -spice test -hier -automatch | tee lvs.log

Can I use the second command only when I have defined my LAYOUT SYSTEM has SPICE?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
