Calibre drc error: failure to read input file stdin at record offset 0

Hi

i am working at the final stage verification and run drc , I calibre ends with exit error and says.


ERROR: Failure to read input file stdin at record offset 0.


can some one tell me .. wat could be the possible mistake i am doing

** I use layout file *.oa

Hello,

I think you are running design using mentor rule file. This error you are seeing if you have set wrong variable. I mean in case of oasis data, rule file should export the LAYOUT SYSTEM = OASIS while running the deck, if it is exporting LAYOUT SYSTEM =GDS then it would give this kind of error message.

Generally this would be controlled by some switch setting being used in rule file. You just need to set correct switch setting.

What is the error message you are getting ? Generally the error message mentioned above reports only when you have export wrong setting like in case of running rule file on gds data you have used LAYOU_SYSTEM = OASIS...
