How can I calculate the dropout and the PSRR of a regulator? Please write the equations with a scheme of the circuit that I can refer to the number of the resistors and capacitors in the circuit and explain how you got these equations.

i would look at datasheet and Application Notes of a regulator and see from there

eg try LM7805 at national.com
