Dear friends,

i am using cadence virtuoso ic816, i am trying to run virtuoso schematic generated netlist in synopsis hspice, however cadence is installed in different system and hspice is installed in different system.

i have copied hspice folder of cadence in the system where synopsis hspice is installed and give the path in .sp file. But when i run .sp file in hspice, i am getting an error " library entry name missing". can you please help with this. is it possible like this ?

Which library? It probably says, somewhere. Are we to guess?

If you looked you would know, and if you knew, you could fix it.

Seems to me you are messing with things you don't understand
and probably shouldn't. Where's your CAD administrator in all
this?

Doesn't your expensive commercial simulator let your expensive
commercial IC CAD tool run simulations on a remote system?
How sad. Or maybe it's the other way around. Equally sad. But
sadder still if nobody even tried to figure it out, whether or how.
