I found one of the members have installed IC5141 in ubuntu 10.04. Have anyone tried installing one in the latest ubuntu 10.10? I am going to give it a try if anyone can help me out on this...

ok, first I have installed Cadence IC5141 Hotfix,ICC11241.. Do I need to install SPB162 or 163?
& Do I need PACIFIC61? I intend to simulate circuits & make layouts.
Initially I installed IC5141, but was unable to configure. I have installed configure utils but I don't know how to use it through the license file.. Help me out please..

During the configure stage, I think you don't need any license.

Havent tried to install on Ubuntu, but are your paths configured correctly?
You don't seem to have a symbolic link from /tools to /tools.lnx86, as is commonly the case.

I have similar error message. But I still can use the icfb/spectre to do simulation. You can ignore those message and try run it.

look for my installation method on rhel /scientific linux 5 posted on forum.
hock

Can you post the link to download the Cadence IC5141 software Linux version please ?

Thanks in advance.
