A few months back my friend put a 9V DC adapter into my 15V DC Peavey PV6 interface and it simply fizzed out. I've opened it up and there seems to be no damage or blown capacitors etc. I think it's something to do with the DC/DC converter, which is a 2360AD JRC. I'm a first year electronics student, so wondering what exactly this component does and whether it is the likely problem. Also wondering if anyone knows of alternatives as I can't seem to find a reasonable uk delivery. Many thanks!
