Try to get fpga design warrior I think it good to understand about fpga but if you want to design I have to learn vhdl or verilog....

I had worked on CPLD and FPGA, if you use XILINX or ALTERA's product,

you can download many useful documents from their website, that's more useful

than pure books.

there are many books available......but for FPGAs from different manafactureres you have to go to those website & get information from there.....also u can read books by Tata Mcgraw Hill
