blvds termination

hi,

i use National BLVDS Driver/Receiver (092LV010A)
to drive 8m cable.

my question is:
what is the value of the termination resistor?

thx,
kobik

Termination resistor value depends of characteristic impedance of cable that you drive. You probaby use some twisted pair cable, wich characteristic impedance is something about 100 Ohm( you must chek on the website of cable manifacturer) . Termination resistor must be with the same value like cable impedance if loading is minimal.
