best way to create this gsm/sensors project ?

Hello ,hope this is the right forum for my question .
I'm going to create a kit with sensors connected to MCU and gsm module to send the gathered data via the gsm module to a website .
So , is it easier/better to create a website that can receive/send the data from/to the far away gsm module .
or do i have to add another gsm module and connect it to the PC and receive the data from the far away kit/gsm module .
in case i need to create a website what is the best programming language i have to use that can communicate with the gsm network .

you can use GET and POST commands to enable a GSM modem to communicate with a website

You can try by creating a webpage and send data to that.

Whereas if you use a one more GSM module which is connected with the PC. You need to send the data as a message that could probably take more time to complete the operation.
