Hey everybody,

Can anyone please tell me how to create my own digital display such as attached image?

Because I am a REALLY beginner, can you tell me what materials are needed and step-by-step to do it?

Hello spinyelectronic,

the display you show in your post is a Liquid crystal display (LCD).

To build it yourself is very difficult, because you need special glasses.

Better you start with LED displays.

So that's called by LCD.

But now the technology is changing from LCD to LED isn't it?

Do anyone know and can teach me step-by-step how to create a simple LED display such as attached image in my first post?

Yes indeed!

How to?
 

as a beginner firstly you make this kind of display using 7-segment LED display...working of both is same ...but for learning purpose...7-segment is better..and easy to handle...


for making this kind of display you need to buy 4 " 7 segment display module" and after that you can control the display content using a micro-controller or decoder ..that depend on your application...
