I needed some help with base biasing transistor.

I need the equation that help me find a suitable value RB to provide a VCE of 5V, if the following info is given:

beta: 180
VBE: 0.7
VCC: 9V
RC: 1.5k ohms

Hi, what i realy want to know is are you using your transistor as a swich or an amplifier? But VB means base voltage.
