Banning of new users here

Why do some users get banned even though they have not posted a single post in the forum at all
 

A trivial explanation would be that they posted only spam posts that have been completely deleted.
 

As both FvM and tpetar have suggested, the forum receives its share of spammers, whose posts are deleted and the membership banned, which accounts for the majority of such cases.
