Dear All,

I have done schematic in Design Entry CIS and the Layout is in Allegro 15.7. After completing the layout i have Renamed the Ref Des in Allegro Layout. What is the procedure for annotating from Layout to schematic. Please explain in detail.

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,
Ahar.

What does the Allegro help file say about back annotation?

Good question! I guess that's one part that many novice do not like to check.
Is all in there in details.

Cheers,

M

I was wondering if anyone had problems back annotating after pin swap. When I
back annotate pin swap in the BGA with a NC pin then the back annotation
is not done correct. Have anyone encountered this problem?
For example, pin from block one is moved to block 4 or vice versa.

Also had the same problem with a function swap. Please let me know if anyone have had problems with the swap list and if you have found a solution for this
problem.

Thanks in advance,
