Hi folks,

I duplicated a part of design in proteus and duplicated parts got new names like U?, D?, R?, C?... I can not rename all components manually, because i have 500+ new parts.. I can not simulate in this situation.
So is there a way to autorename all parts?
TIA

Use the component re-annotator (tools menu).

Incremental mode - annotate only components that are not currently annotated (i.e. those with a ?).

Total Mode - start from scratch and re-annotate everything.

Note that multi element heterogeneous parts (e.g. a relay with a coil and two contacts) *must* be manually annotated - the software cannot otherwise know which contacts to associate with which coil for example.

Iain.
