Dear All

I have designed a simple ATS Card drive by a PIC 16F84A, I need a power supply circuit for this which hold the Relay for 3 sec when the circuit switched the generator ignition . Generator 12V Batter is use as a Power source for this circuit.
Thanks in advance for supporting

This is done by replacing Q2 transistor by LM555 in the monoshot mode .
The control pin 2 can be used and time set at 3secs or higher as desired .
Trigger input changes state of output which resets after the set time .
The output pin3 will drive the relay with 100-50mA loading with no problems .
You can achieve good repetition rates .

thanks this was a good idea. what type of 12v supply I used here for this circuit

thanks

The 12V starter can be very low ratings as bias current is 3mA.
However , the load current can be 50mA or so which is at output pins and needs to be catered from the supply for the duration of Vhigh .
